Our family has been making annual treks to visit Letchworth State Park for almost 25 years. Nicknamed the Grand Canyon of the East it has never failed to stun with its majestic views of the Genesee River gorge and three separate waterfall areas. The park is magnificent filled with trees, native plants, stone structures and wildlife, but it’s the jaw-dropping views of the 550′ rock walls stretching up from the Genesee River below that reveal the true power of nature.

Awesome shots! Already feel cooler just looking at them!
thank you for great site and great scenery./\.
Oh, how lush and lovely. Are you allowed to play in the falls? We have a spot out here where we hike to the falls and then play in the rushing water. Great fun on a hot summer day.
Thank you for your kind words!
I claim no credit..nature did all of the work!
Thses falls are in a very, very deep gorge so no playing allowed. However, there is another park about an hour from us that has multiple waterfalls and natural pools that everyone can play in… but that’s another post!
